Description
Multiband cobweb antenna works on 7 HF bands and up to 1000w/800w SSB
The processing time is 2 days, but it is worth asking first.
Bands are 14, 18, 21, 24, 28, 50, 70MHz
This antenna has sides of the square 2.65 x 2.65 m, and is very useful where space is limited.
This antenna works well as an antenna for your base but equally well as portable for holidays and field work due to it’s folding boom arms.
It’s unique design allows this antenna to be quickly and easily set up within a few minutes.
It’s design is very strong and robust, and is resistant to strong winds.
The antenna is contructed from glass fibre rods, aluminum, stainless steel and galvanized steel and has a sealed connector box resistant to rain and UV rays to keep the balun and connections from the elements.
The antenna works well on DX and as a QRP station.
It is pre-tuned to different bands at a height of 4 metres above the ground. Raising the antenna above 4m will generally see SWR decrease.
Bandwidth on 6 and 10m may require the use of an ATU to cover more of the band..
This antenna is omni-directionally so you do not need a rotator.
It is made up of folded half-wave dipoles for 14,18,21,24,28,50,70 MHz
Polarisation is horizontal and is naturally resistant to some electrical interference and static.
Large system efficiency to 95%.

Dan Hampson. M7FBY (verified owner) –
This antenna has worked wonders in my location (small urban garden).
Some bands are up to 3-4s points better that the efhw that i have been using and it has lowered the noise floor drastically.
I would highly recommend this antenna
Andy bronson –
Fantastic antenna!!! Very low noise floor and works brilliant!! 3 s points better than my vertical and 2-3 s points better than my efhw.GREAT PERFORMER

The Cobweb 7 20-4 is everything it claims to be and more. I’m averaging 1.5 swr on 6-20. It was very easy to set up and it’s great in the wind.
Mick Farrar –
I initially looked at this antenna after watching the Tech Minds video, oredred it and, after waiting for customs to clear, it was worth the wait! Setup instructions are easy to follow (watch Tech Minds video!!) and once mounted it was time to test – this is an excellent performer, putting my EFHW to shame. Extremely quite, pulling in signals from around the world and some great reception reports on voice.
I run FT8 most days and, again, have noticed a big increse in station available to me and completed contacts.
Thanks for your help all the way along Pawel, if I ever upgrade to a hexbeam I will be calling on you again!!
Mick Farrar –
Hi
This is a follow up after a month or so of use. Even with the recent bad HF conditions I have been having so great contacts, totally out preforming my EFHW and Delta loop (even a trusty Rybakov).
I was told not to expect much on 6m, but with some excellent conditions in this band alone I have been able to make multiple contacts (over 50 on one day) and was even spotted in Newfoundland from the UK, and making a confirmed contact in Iceland.
If you are reading this and considering – go for it! Very little space is needed and it is extremely light, no need to drop during storms.
Thanks again for your help, support and brilliant craftmanship guys !!
